Vacancies – Training and Development Working Group

We currently have two vacancies to join our Training and Development Working Group.

Our Training and Development Working Group is an operational group that was established by ARMA’s Professional Development Committee to oversee, plan, deliver and quality-assure ARMA’s very popular and comprehensive Training & Development Programme. In addition to creating a rolling programme of webinars, workshops and recorded material, the Working Group also makes recommendations for the programme’s improvement and development, ensuring that the programme is relevant to our community. The T&D Working Group is currently led by ARMA Director, Alison Lloyd, and the Working Group reports to the Professional Development Committee.

To ensure as diverse a representation as possible, these vacancies are open to all career stages and not just those in senior management positions. Appropriate training, mentoring and support will be provided for all successful applicants.

The roles in depth

These roles, which commence as soon as possible, are unpaid. Members are appointed on a 3-year basis (with an option for a second term). The posts are unpaid, and all meetings are likely to be via Teams . The group meets a minimum of four times a year, with each meeting running for approximately 60 – 90 minutes. Note, you do have to be an ARMA member to join the working group. We expect all members to work collaboratively and proactively to support the ongoing development of the training and development programme.

Following a recent skills audit our Training and Development Working Group have identified some key gaps and would therefore welcome applications from people with skills in these areas:

• Research systems, data and technology
• Trusted research and research contracts
